SUMMARY:Palmetto Cyber Defense Competition PCDC (Charleston)
DESCRIPTION:Palmetto Digital Forensics Competition \n\nSaturday\, 8 April 2017\, Valuable Prizes\nSeparate divisions for High School Students and Collegiate/Pros\nSolve as many forensic scenarios as possible within the allotted time and accumulate the most points possible\n\nECPI\, Charleston Campus\, sponsored the PCDC Cyber Defense Competition on April 8th – 10th 2017 (http://www.pcdc-sc.com/).  High Schools participated on Saturday April 8 and Universities/Colleges participated on April 9. To qualify for this event\, school must have placed in the previous year’s PCDC top three or the school must compete against other South Carolina schools in the Southeast Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition qualifier held in February. Bryan Powers\, Charleston Program Director\, volunteered to work at the event and he brought along a team of eight students who had a respectable showing at the competition.
